Please take note of the following problem in using emulator PC4701M for the M16C, 7700, and 740 families of microcomputers.

The particular lots of the PC4701M emulator units shown in the table below are concerned with this problem.

Problem
When used with an emulation pod for the 740 family, the PC4701M products concerned do not work properly in interval time measurement, event break and others.
- Note:
- Though this problem does not occur when you use your PC4701M with an emulation pod for the M16C or 7700 family, you are recommended to remodel your PC4701M if it is one of the products concerned.
Solution
We plan to remodel every product concerned, so you are kindly requested to send your emulator unit, if necessary, to your local Renesas Technology sales office or distributor.
