Please take note of the following problem in using emulator PC4701HS for the M16C, 7700, and 740 families of microcomputers.

| PC4701HS Emulator Unit | 9EE1913F or later (indicating the lots fabricated in or after May 1999) |
Problem
If a PC4701HS emulator and an emulator debugger are used in their combination described below, performing self-check may result in incorrect termination. Combination of emulator and emulator debugger:
- Emulator:
- A PC4701HS product of the lots fabricated in and after May 1999
- Emulator Debugger:
- A PD30, PD38, PD77, or PD79 product of the earlier versions than the one upgraded in April 1999
Note:
All the products of PC4701 fabricated in and before April 1999 (with serial number 9DE1912E or earlier) are not concerned with this problem.
Solution
This problem will be eliminated by using the latest version of the emulator debuggers published in April 1999.
The latest version of each emulator debugger is as follows:
