|
Please take note of the following problem in using emulator debuggers PDxx for 16-bit microcomputers.
- Products and Versions Concerned
PD308 V.1.00 Release 1 (For the M16C/80 series of MCUs)
PD30 V.4.00 Release 1 (For the M16C/60 and 20 series of MCUs)
PD79 V.2.00 Release 1 (For the 7900 series of MCUs)
PD77 V.2.00 Release 1 (For the 7700/7751 series of MCUs)
- Problem
This problem occurs when each of the above emulator debuggers controls the emulator PC4701. In the ASM watch window, errors in the communication protocol will occur if the contents of memory are changed with watch points in the Word or Lword size that begin at an odd address.
- Workaround
This problem will be circumvented by either of the following ways:
- Change the contents of memory in the memory or dump window.
- Change the contents of memory by using the MW or ML command in the script window.
- Schedule of Fixing Problem
We plan to fix this problem in our next release.
