Supplementary Information on "M30620TB-RPD-E Remodeling Announcement"

This is to inform you that the M30620TB-RPD-E emulation pods for the M16C/62 group MCUs fabricated in July 1999 are also concerned with the problem described in Tool News "M30620TB-RPD-E Remodeling Announcement" issued on November 1.

The products of M30620TB-RPD-E fabricated in July 1999 were omitted in the above item of news. The products concerned are corrected as follows:

Problem Involved
When data is written to an address of the emulation memory in the pod, this data may also be written to another address. For the symptom and cause of this problem, refer to the above item of news in "M30620TB-RPD-E Remodeling Announcement".

Remodeling of Products
We will remodel every product concerned without charge, so you are kindly requested to send back your emulation pod, if it involved, to your local Renesas Technology sales office or distributor.
The remodeling takes the period of days shown below (days for transportation not included). Please be aware, however, that we will not be able to replace your pod with a new one for its remodeling period.

- (2)Received from Dec. 20 to Dec. 22, 1999: Shipped on Dec. 27
