This is to announce that C compiler and relocatable assembler for the 7900 series of microcomputers have been upgraded as follows:

Descriptions of Upgrading
- 1.1 C compiler NC79
- (1)Option -fauto_128 [-fA1] added: this option extends the upper limit of stack frame size from 64 to 128 bytes.
- (2)Function-extending #pragma MX1FUNCTION added: this function creates code provided that the MX flag is set to 1 at the beginning and ending procedures of a function.
- (3)An option added to display a warning message.
- (4)The known problems fixed. [For details refer to every piece of Tool News describing "NC79WA Precaution" issued after Aug. 1, 1999 (release date of the preceding version).]
- 1.2 Relocatable assembler AS79
- (1)Tool SC79 added: this tool converts assembly language programs created by assembler RASM77 for the 7700 family MCUs into those for the 7900 family MCUs.
