Generating code

In this section, you configure the peripheral functions built in the microcontroller you are going to use. Using the code generation tool, a program can be automatically generated just by performing GUI operations such as selecting functions or entering numerical values.

 

1.  System configuration

In this step, you configure the functions of the System such as setting the clock or selecting whether or not to use an on-chip debugging function.

 

Double-click the [Clock Generator] from [Code Generator (Design Tool)] in the Project Tree. This opens the panel for the system.

Select the [Pin assignment] tab and click [Fix settings] button.

Select the [On-chip debugging setting] tab and configure as shown below.

 

Tip

About SECURITY ID

SECURITY ID is a 10-byte code embedded into a flash memory as a means to prevent the other person from reading the content of the program. It acts as a password when starting a debugger.
