2.8 Setting up the Floating License

The following initial settings are required to use a floating license.

Caution

Set up the client after the server settings were finished.

(1)	Open the License Manager Option dialog box

In the License Manager window, click on the [Option] button.

The License Manager Option dialog box will open.

(2)	Connect the license server

Enter the IP address (example: 192.168.0.1) or host name (example: license.example.com) of the license server into [Server Address] and the port number specified by the license server administrator into [Port]. If you do not know, please contact the license server administrator.

Click on the [Enable] button.

When connection to the license server is successful, the display changes to that shown on the below.

Click on the [OK] button to close the dialog box.
