Source Convert Setting dialog box [CC-RL]


This dialog box configures the source files of the source project to convert them for the build tool of the project to be created.

Caution

This dialog box is only displayed if the build tool of the source project is CA78K0R or CA78K0, and that of the project to be created is CC-RL.

The following items are explained here.

[How to open]

From the Create Project dialog box, set the build tool of the source project to CA78K0R or CA78K0, and that of the project to create to CC-RL, and then click the [Create] button.

Caution

You cannot open this dialog box when the [Copy composition files in the diverted project folder to a new project folder] check box is checked from the Create Project dialog box.

When converting a project for the CA78K0R or CA78K0 compiler created by using PM+, from the Project Convert Setting dialog box, set the build tool of the project to create to CC-RL, and then click the [OK] button.

[Description of each area]

Source convert selection area

Select whether to convert the source files when creating the project.

When [Yes] is selected

The source files are converted.

When [No] is selected

The source files are not converted.

[Backup of project before conversion.] area

Make settings relating to backing up the source project.

(a)

[Backup the project composition files before conversion]

Select this check box when you wish to save backups of the pre-conversion source files in the project folder and those other than in the project folder that has been registered with the project tree.

Caution

When this dialog box is displayed from the Project Convert Setting dialog box and a new folder which is different from that for the source project is specified as [Place] in the Project Convert Setting dialog box, the files of the source project for the MCU Simulator Online, e2 studio, High-performance Embedded Workshop, or PM+ are not included as targets for backup.

[Place]

Specify the location in which to save the entire source project and its source files.

Enter the absolute path directly, or click the [Browse...] button, and select the location via the Browse For Folder dialog box.

By default, "project-folder-of-project-being-created_backup" is displayed. If there is already a folder with the same name, a number (2, 3, ...) will be added to the folder name.

This field is enabled only when the [Backup the project composition files before conversion] check box is checked.

Opens the Browse For Folder dialog box.

When a folder is selected, the path is shown in the text box.

Remark 1.

Up to 247 characters can be entered in [Place]. When the input violates any restriction, the following messages are shown.

Description

The folder name including the path is too long. Make it within 247 characters.

The folder name is more than 247 characters.

The folder name is invalid. The following characters cannot be used: :, *, ?, ", <, >, |

The folder name with the invalid path is designated. The characters, :, *, ?, ", <, >, |, cannot be used for the file name and folder name.

The folder in the source project can not be specified.

A folder inside the source project folder is specified.

Remark 2.

When the path name is too long to be shown in the text area, is displayed. The absolute path pops up when the mouse cursor is hovered over .
